Ink Finder
Find the right flexographic or rotogravure ink by process, print type and application.

Flexographic Surface
High adhesion and color intensity for surface printing on polyolefins, PVC and raffia.

Flexographic Lamination
Reverse-print systems with strong bond strength and precise dots for process work.

Rotogravure Surface
Gloss, stability and resistance to grease, alkalis and heat-sealing at any press speed.

Rotogravure Lamination
Stable color and high lamination bond strength for simple, rigid and multilayer structures.

Bases & Varnishes
Concentrated bases and technological varnishes tailored to each application.
Choosing an ink
Flexographic and rotogravure inks for every packaging structure
The right ink depends on three questions: which print process you run, whether you print on the surface or in reverse for lamination, and what the finished package must withstand.
Qtec's portfolio covers surface and lamination systems for both flexo and rotogravure, plus concentrated bases and technological varnishes to fine-tune gloss, rub resistance and color.
- Solvent-based systems for flexible packaging
- Surface print on polyolefins, PVC and raffia
- Reverse print for simple, rigid and multilayer laminates
- Custom bases and varnishes
How to find the right ink
Print process
Flexographic or rotogravure, and your press configuration.
Print type
Surface printing or reverse printing for lamination.
Substrate
BOPP, PE, PET, PVC, raffia or multilayer structures.
End use
Grease, chemical, cold or sealing resistance requirements.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Surface inks are printed on the outside of the package and need rub and scuff resistance. Lamination inks are reverse printed and sealed between layers, so bond strength with the adhesive is critical.
